Mariposa Arts Theatre Foundation is truly thankful to all the patrons that came to the FILM NIGHT series of the Toronto International Film Festival. This was a very successful year and the films we enjoyed were all excellent selections. Every year, MAT volunteers attend the film festival and select the best of the best films for our enjoyment in Orillia. Thank you once again for coming to our selections! See you next fall!

What's Happening @ Mariposa Arts?

Do you have what it takes to bring an internationally known production to the amateur stage?  Mariposa Arts Theatre is proud to present Tim Firth’s Calendar Girls at the Orillia Opera House in February of 2014.  We are looking for an experienced producer to head our team.  We are also looking for that person to lead a publicity team for this touching yet daring production.  If you are interested, please email mariposaartstheatre@gmail.com.

The Next Season!

Mariposa Arts Theatre is pleased to announce the next season! Yes, the 2013 -2014 schedule is done and we have three exciting new live productions for you! In November, we will open our season with The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams. Then in February 2014 MAT will present Calendar Girls by Tim Firth. Closing the season in April 2014, MAT will present Inherit The Wind by Jerome Lawrence and Robert Edwin Lee. Please click below to get more information!
